Understanding the Process of Healing
If you want a challenge, then take it upon yourself to consider
remaking yourself from the inside out. What that statement basically
means is that we all create patterns in our lives that are formed
from thoughts, emotions, and beliefs. These patterns can actually
be so ingrained in us that we don’t even consciously know
we are doing them. You may have formed your beliefs from your own
ideas or you adopted them from your parents, teachers, friends,
or society itself.

When
the healing is complete, we do not repeat the experience. |
This is the area I really enjoy working with a person. The work
will help you to become aware of these patterns, and to understand
whether they are positive or negative. You can then learn how to
undo the negative patterns, first by becoming aware of when you
are doing this negative pattern, and then having “tools”
to turn that behavior around to create joy instead of pain.
In our normal state of existence we are joyful, enthusiastic, loving
creators. Alas, most of us are a far cry from that. That state is
achievable, though. But the problem is that we all have to walk
right though the middle of the pain that has been created from our
illusory beliefs, and understand how to change them into a positive
experience in our life. Many who do not know how to do this process
use some form of suppression in order to numb the pain below conscious
level. That suppression can be in the form of alcohol, drugs, blaming
someone else for our stuff, or even being a workaholic. You probably
know what I am talking about when I say that most families have
not and do not know how to communicate honestly and with kindness,
about what bothers them, so there is usually energy on the surface
of everything being just fine, but then there is this undercurrent
of energy that it is not fine, but in fact, awful. Nobody is talking
about the awful, unless a fight breaks out with yelling and screaming.
My mother and father would argue after we all went to bed. What
did they think, we could not hear them fighting? Actually, it was
my father yelling at my mother. She just internalized it. They stayed
together until their deaths, but really disliked each other. Such
a shame that so many families are like that. One of my clients would
complain about her husband to me and all her closest friends. After
I showed her that this negative communication was making the situation
worse, not better, she was able over time to stop doing it, and
start working on herself instead. As she started to get happier
from her internal work, she then could start to communicate directly
to her husband in a kind way about what was bothering her when he
did certain things. Now she was getting some where! Over some time
they both became more aware of what was bothering each one of them
and the negative pattern set up from their original dissatisfaction
and lack of communication then started to dissolve. They are much
happier together now, and still working on the ability to communicate
truthfully, but without projecting blame on each other. When you
become aware and take responsibility for your patterns, then things
can really change for the better. Suppression does not change anything.
You still wake up to the same old painful situation, and possibly
a hang over as well.
Some are calling this time in our evolution the “great awakening”.
This is a time of communication. Look around. Most everyone has
cell phones, even children. There are all kinds of gadgets for communication;
television, computers, telephones, and on and on. What’s this
trying to tell us? Now is the time for us to get in touch with ourselves.
Many people are moving into awareness about themselves, and there
are many modalities to do that.
Alternative modalities, such as acupuncture, nutrition, osteopathy,
chiropractic, yoga, tai chi, pilates, and many more will help you.
Not to say that allopathic (traditional western) medicine is not
of value, because it is. Most of us would not be alive today if
it was not for allopathic medicine. But, like they say, there are
many roads to heaven. Your road is perfect for you, and the ultimate
goal is to achieve the true state of joy, enthusiasm, love, and
creativity. A truly happy person seems hard to find, but more and
more people are doing their personal internal adventure of awareness,
and are definitely on the road to true happiness.
Maybe
you have heard the term chakra. Chakras are energy centers that
enable you as a spirit to download your information into the physical
space of being a body. They line up along the spine, and even go
up above the body. The eighth chakra sits above your head, and its
function is to hold the information of your personal “Divine
Plan” for this life time. This basically means that most of
us have a blueprint for our lives that was created before we entered
this body. I see this as being an overall plan that has specific
events or agreements in it that direct the energy of your life.
I have developed the ability to read this “divine plan”,
and help you to know what the theme of your life is all about. From
there I look at whether or not you are on your life’s path.
Dissatisfaction comes to a person when they are not on their path.
Experiences that do not turn into the awareness and healing that
you planned, will then become yet another experience until the goal
is obtained. That’s why we may marry someone, get a divorce,
and end up with yet another person trying to work out the same or
similar issue. There may be a series of events that happen over
time that all have the same theme. When the healing is complete,
we do not repeat the experience.
This is definitely a process that takes time. I have never seen
a person that did not go through a process of unfolding the awareness
of themselves and life. Most of my clients that I work with will
have a session, then go for a time, and then feel like it is time
to have another session. Some people only have one or two sessions,
some people keep going, and I leave that strictly up to you.
